Singing like a mermaid!

Grace is really into singing (like a mermaid). Her most recent favs are "twinkle twinkle" "abc song" "baa baa blacksheep" and of course, "under the sea."

She gets her singing skills from her dada :)

Our very own "Chatty Cathy"

Noah is talking! Well, he at least says mama, dada, and baba (don't know what that means?). He gets pretty proud of himself, and Grace LOVES to help teach him how to talk! She also loves to help try to film him, as you will see with the video :)

Famous! (almost)

My friend Rachel who is an AWESOME photographer took some cute pics of other people's kids and mine happened to be there. On a whim she snapped a few of Grace and Noah. Here are a few, another couple are on her website at http://www.rachelblackwellphotography.com/.

Thank you God for Aunt Kate and Sea lions...

After Aunt Kate came to visit yesterday, Grace has been in seventh heaven! She sure loves her Aunt (as shown by her new bedtime prayer requests the past couple of nights). Yes, Aunt Kate has even overshadowed the normal items Grace thanks God for at night (which include milk, fruit snacks and letters, as of late.) Today we went and showed Aunt Kate the sea lions, which is Grace's favorite tourist attraction here in SF! She is pretty excited that her aunt lives close enough to visit!

Employed!

I am now a proud employee of the container store- with all that that includes (can you say 40% discount?) I will be working two nights a week, after the kiddos go to bed, so it shouldn't cut into time with them at all. I am excited that I found something that will work with my mama hours!

Up and running (just like Grace and Noah's noses!)

Well, I have finally gotten with the times and started a blog for our family. I don't know how often I will be able to update it, but hopefully I can keep all of you friends and family in the loop even if you are far away. Steve's job is going well, as is our school- we are busy! Both Grace and Noah are sick with headcolds, so we are going through our share of Kleenex's (or whatever the generic one-ply version of Kleenex is!) It's fall out here (yay!) and finally cooling off. I LOVE living in a place where there are seasons again! I will get some pics of the kids enjoying the fall weather up soon. Gotta run, house hunters is on. My latest obsession has been watching to see what wonderful house I could be living in (if I wanted to live in places like Mobile Alabama). I think I'll stick with my 640 sq ft apt in this beautiful place!
